I love aluminum for garden furniture. It's lightweight, so it's cheap and easy to store, but it's also rustproof, so it weathers well. It won't suit more traditional yards but it's a bargain for sleek, modern yard designs.

Sure, it's not the best deal in the world, but it's hard to beat an American classic like this Adirondack chair. Made from hardwearing acacia, this chair is lighter and cheaper than the equivalent in teak and has none of the potential ethical concerns.

If you love a firm bed, you'll find this uncomfortable.

KitchenAid have dominated the stand mixer market and for a good reason - they're exceptional. I'm still yet to use a better stand mixer. the only drawback is the price, so if you can ever save money on one, I'd recommend that you snap up the deal.

I love a Dyson deal because it can be hard to justify paying the full price tag. With a reduction of $100, the V8 is at the top of my vacuum deals list. It's an excellent vacuum, now at an excellent price.
Hoover ONEPWR Pet Max
Was $309.99, now $183.99 at Amazon
This is a great saving on an already cheap vacuum. I have on at home and it does a pretty good job. The battery isn't amzing and it wraps up long hair, but the performance on carpet nearly matches a Dyson. There are better vacuums out there, but you won't find this quality at this price.
Best cordless vacuum
Shark Vertex Pro

I've tested vacuums for years, and this is still one of my favorites. It offers near-Dyson performance at a much more reasonable price, and now it's even less. I personally think the compact folding storage is a bit of a gimmick, but being able to bend at the neck makes it unbelievably easy to clean under furniture.

This Dyson is one of the best vacuums for pet hair. The Outsize plus is kitted out with all of Dyson's most desirable features: a spotlight, timer, range of vacuum functions, and long battery life.

One of my favorite insider tips with Dyson is to grab a Ball Animal 2 around sales periods. Sure, it's an older vacuum and it's pretty clumsy, but if all you need is a powerful vacuum to totally transform your floors, this will do the job for hundreds of dollars less than a top-line Dyson.
ONSON Robot Vacuum Cleaner
Was $619.99, now $109.99 at Walmart
This is one of the biggest discounts I've seen this Labor Day: a huge $510 discount off this robot vacuum cleaner. You hardly ever see robot vacuums at the $100 mark, but a word of warning: we haven't tested this, so I can't vouch for it.

Final Thoughts
Labor Day is great, but the biggest discounts on mattresses and kitchen appliances are still to come. While Black Friday won't see many deals on outdoor furniture, it offered huge discounts on a wide range of bedding, tech, and cooking gadgets.
