My favorite pastime is browsing through all the latest shoes, sweaters, and jeans in Nordstrom’s new arrivals section. Now that it’s officially fall, I have an excuse to finally pull the trigger on all the pieces that have been living in my cart. When I do my daily online fall browsing, I’m looking for layerable staples, comfy but put-together shoes (aka loafers), and all things warm and cozy.
Below is everything I’m planning on buying that just landed at Nordstrom for the season, from baggy Levi’s to a maxi-length sweater dresses from Topshop:
ASOS Design Foldover Off-the-Shoulder Sweater

One of my favorite top styles to reach for during the fall and winter is off-the-shoulder sweaters. I quickly get fatigued from being fully covered during the colder months with traditional long-sleeve tees and turtlenecks, so an off-the-shoulder design is my way of spicing things up with a splash of skin. When I saw this Asos Design Foldover Off-the-Shoulder Sweater in Nordstrom’s new arrivals, I knew I needed it for my fall and winter rotation.
The black sweater is available in sizes 0 through 12. It’s made in a soft ribbing fabric and features extra fabric around the neck and shoulders that can be folded down to reveal the décolleté. Long sleeves come over the hands with slits at the cuffs and a fit that is snug to the body and falls right at the hip.
Vigoss Quarter Zip Cable Stitch Sweater

I am a certified member of the cold girls club, so a quarter zip sweater like this one from Vigoss is a necessity. Mornings and evenings are chilly, but the afternoons warm up a bit, so it can be tricky to know what to wear. I would rather be safe than freezing, so I would style this pullover sweater draped over my shoulders when it’s warmer, but as soon as the temperature starts to drop, I'd layer it over whatever short-sleeve T-shirt I have on.
The knitted quarter-zip comes in cream with a black accent varsity stripe at the hem and cuff in sizes S through XL. It features an exaggerated sailor collar with a relaxed fit throughout the body of the garment, a cable knit design on the sleeves and front panel of the sweater, and a front zipper for easy on-and-off.

It has already started getting to the point where I can’t leave the house without a jacket. And as someone who is always cold, my favorite style hack is to buy oversized jeans like these Levi's Baggy Dad Jeans so that I can layer leggings or tights underneath for extra warmth on cooler days.
These ‘90s-inspired jeans come in a light wash in sizes 26 through 32 with an inseam length of 30. The non-stretch denim has a high-rise waist, roomy straight-leg fit, classic button and zipper front closure, and Levi’s signature patch on the back waistband.
Topshop Long Sleeve Maxi Sweater Dress

It was love at first sight when I came across this Topshop Long Sleeve Maxi Sweater Dress when scrolling through Nordstrom’s new arrivals. I love that the model looks like she’s bundled up in a cozy blanket, and that’s what I aspire to look like all fall and winter long. I would style it with sneakers and a baseball cap for a more casual feel, or knee-high boots and a trench coat for a more polished look.
The sweater dress comes in brown and gray in sizes XS through L. It features a slouchy, oversized silhouette that falls a few inches above the ankle, a V-neckline and collar, and knee-high side slits at the hem.
