I'm Convinced This Is the Ultimate 'It' Bag for Winter

As a market editor (and handbag hoarder), I'm constantly refreshing countless "new arrivals" pages from everyone's favorite brands in search of the next "It" thing. And every so often, I come across something that deeply resonates with my personal taste and become hyper-fixated. That's what happened with Rouje's Big Zebra Bag: I first laid eyes on the striped ponyhair beauty over a year ago and instantly fell in love with its capacious size, gold hardware and the rocker undertones of the print (a neutral, in my opinion). It's as if it materialized directly from my sartorial fantasies.
As a cautious shopper that waits for a good deal, I held out. But I didn't hit "check out" in time, and, to my dismay, it sold out. I have quite literally been dreaming of her ever since, scouring all of my go-to resale apps and sites (Poshmark, The RealReal, etc.) in hopes of getting my hands on one, to no avail. High from the hunt, I even inquired about a restock — no dice.
Rouje was kind enough to send me the same bag, only in tan suede. Unfortunately, I've been loving carrying that one so much, it's only deepened my yearning for the animal print version. It didn't help that I've spotted Sienna Miller (repeatedly) carrying the sold-out striped style, as well as TikTokers styling the bag online.
As my FOMO reached new heights, I was blessed with a holiday miracle: Rouje just restocked its Big Bag in my beloved zebra print. At this point, I think I've more than earned it as a holiday gift to myself — I just need to do some girl math (as I always do) to justify every purchase.
