As Best Products' beauty editor and resident Sephora obsessive, covering the new Sephora Spring Sale event is my sweet spot. I spend dozens of hours every week testing new beauty products, attending brand meetings to learn about what's coming soon, interviewing celebrities, including Vanessa Hudgens, about their beauty ventures, and chatting with dermatologists and celeb glam squads about industry trends and how to shop smartly.

Sephora sells 2,770 makeup products alone, so it can get really overwhelming to figure out what to order during this limited-time deals event. Luckily, that's where I come in! After multiple rounds of testing products catered toward diverse beauty needs, I narrowed it down to just 11 standout beauty products I can confidently stand behind, and vouch well worth your hard-earned money. It was also incredibly important for me to include items across all price points because I was always taught to be frugal, and I totally understand what it's like to covet expert-recommended beauty items that were out of my budget. Who qualifies

Dates

Sephora Spring sale dates are grouped based on your Beauty Insider tiers. Rouge members spend $1000/year or more. VIB members spend $350/year and it's free to sign up as a Beauty Insider which has no minimum spend. All tiers can enjoy 30% off Sephora Collection products.

First Access (4/14 – 4/24) Rouge members get 20% off all eligible products.

The only thing better than chocolate covered strawberries? Hydrating lip masks that smell like delicious treats, naturally! This duo includes a full-size lip mask that smells like strawberries and the mini tube smells like a chocolate dream.

Throughout the winter, I swiped on the OG LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask before bed, and would wake up with dramatically softer and more supple lips. Dealing with lip lines? Same! The proprietary berry fruit complex paired with murumuru seed and shea butter helped soften my them overnight.

Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil

I recently named Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez one of the best celebrity beauty brands in the game, and with good reason. This lip oil was inspired by Gomez's TikTok favorite Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, and infused with skincare quality ingredients, like moisturizing jojoba seed and sunflower seed oils.

All of Gomez's makeup products, including this new beauty product, are beautifully pigmented and offer long lasting wear, which is why I'm confident this one will be my new favorite lip product. Plus, they're available in eight colors, including “Happy!” which is a cool pink that's Gomez's favorite shade.

Ultra-Black Lash Lifting & Lengthening Serum Mascara

I've tried my fair share of mascaras, including the TikTok viral $5 Essence Mascara, but the ROSE INC mascara instantly won me over after the first swipe — and everyone should try it at least once.

So what makes it so fabulous that I need to order backups right away? First, let's talk about the wand: It's dual-sided, featuring short bristles for a volume and a curved half featuring longer bristles for length and curling.

And don't even get me started on the formula. With a name like Serum Mascara, I initially dismissed it as a glorified version of clear mascara, but I was wrong! My short lashes became panther black and elongated after just a single coat. My lashline also looked thicker, so I felt comfy skipping eyeliner that evening.

Brow Freeze

I'm a firm believer that every beauty lover deserves at least one Anastasia Beverly Hills brow product in their life — and this one is a hit. Sure the TikTok hype is there, but the reality is that it's a high performing product that's adored by makeup artists and myself.

Brow Freeze is a clear eyebrow wax that lifts and sculpts brow hairs in place for a trendy feathered lewk. Since it's clear and mess-free, I feel comfy suggesting it to younger girls (and guys!) looking to tame their unruly, coarse brows. Those with sparser brows like myself can also use it and just fill in their brows with an eyebrow product of choice.

My biggest tip is to just buy the discounted dual-ended ABH applicator. Use the flat side to pick up a tiny bit of Brow Freeze, work the product back and forth in the back of the cap, and brush through clean eyebrows. After achieving the desired look, gently press down with the flat side again.

Ingrown Hair Oil

Whether you shave, sugar, wax, or laser away unwanted body and facial hair, unsightly ingrown hairs and bumps can pop up, which is a major bummer. Combined with regular use of a body scrub, this gentle oil from maude (Dakota Johnson is an investor!) seems like the ideal solution for treating and preventing ingrown hairs.

I'm impressed with its clean formula that contains some of my favorite oils, like jojoba for moisture, while chamomile and tea tree oils have a soothing and antimicrobial effect.

Pore Eclipse Mattifying + Blurring Setting Spray

Milk Makeup is one of my favorite woman-owned brands, and their latest release is a mattifying setting spray perfect for the warm weather season and beyond.

Not only does it help lock makeup in for up to 16 hours (an oily skin girl's dream come true!), but it minimizes shine and blurs the look of pores, for a soft-focused, IRL filter effect. The non-sticky makeup setting spray also relies on ingredients we know and love, like bakuchiol and niacinamide, to help perfect the skin.

Be sure to mist this on before heading to a summer concert or throw it in your bag ahead of your next long-distance flight.

Hollywood Flawless Filter

Speaking of an IRL skin filter, the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is honestly iconic at this point, and well-deserving of its praise.

Pretty much every celebrity you can think of has sported this product on the red carpet, whether their makeup artists publicly post about it on social media or not. Trust me, I've interviewed dozens of pro artists and this product is a secret must-have for a radiant glow in pictures.

The common misconception is that it's a foundation, but that's not the case. Hollywood Flawless Filter is a dreamy liquid highlighter that can be applied to the high points of the face, while those craving a dewy AF look all over could apply it across their entire face.

Dream Coat Supernatural Spray

Our hair can shine bright like a diamond with the help of this Rihanna-approved spray. The award-winning smoothing treatment transforms all hair textures (yes, even yours!) into shiny, frizz-free, and silky strands lasting up to four shampoos.

Last fall, Bad Gal Riri's hairstylist shared an easy to follow tutorial on how to recreate her Aaliyah-inspired 'do, and his biggest tip is to use always use heat from a hairdryer, such as the Dyson Supersonic, to activate the humidity-fighting spray.

You Eau de Parfum

There's a gigantic section dedicated to perfumes in the Best Products sample closet, so it's safe to say it was hard AF narrowing down to just one perfume for this story.

Since Glossier just dropped at Sephora, it's the perfect time to score a bottle of their signature You perfume at a discount. Plus, in 2022, it was the third most viral product on TikTok.

The combo of spicy pink pepper, woodsy and slightly sweet warm ambrox, and fresh iris blend with your unique body chemistry to create a custom scent without the princely price tag.

Mothership IX Eyeshadow Palette: Huetopian Dream

Currently at the top of my wishlist is this investment-worthy eyeshadow palette that features ten buttery soft eyeshadows in a range of pink, bronze, gold, and purples from makeup legend Pat McGrath. There are matte eyeshadows, like Xtreme Plum Noir and Secret Eden, and highlighters, such as Skinshow Nude Xtasy and Astral Venusian Orchid.

For a stunning multi-chrome moment, the kit has multidimensional accent colors, like Bronze Desire and Blitz Sextreme. There are also bold jewel tones (Astrala Amethyst Moon and Bronze Solaris 005), which are unlike any other glitter eyeshadows I've seen from other brands.

I know the upfront price might be scary, but even at full price a single eyeshadow costs $12.80 a pop, which is still less than other solo shadows available at Sephora, including this one from Urban Decay.

Special Edition Airwrap Multi-Styler Complete Long

Rounding out my list is the iconic Dyson Airwrap, which rarely goes on sale — and when it does, the Airwrap flies off digital shelves.

I'm a huge fan of Dyson hot tools, especially the Best Tested Supersonic hairdryer, which I've been loyal to for 3 years. While I'm absolutely obsessed with that 10/10 product, I've been itching to try something new. Since I'm a Dyson brand loyalist, the Airwrap seems like the perfect fit for someone like me who wants that blowout vibe in the shortest time possible.

The kit was recently re-engineered for faster and easier styling, and it comes with longer barrels for those with chest-length or longer tresses. The five attachments can curl, smooth, and straighten the coiliest strands, and the included paddle brush looks sleek enough to display on a vanity. Plus, the gift set comes with a velvet travel pouch for easy portability.
