You Can Get All-You-Can-Eat Milkshakes At IHOP Today

Update, May 10, 2021: Today is the day, folks! IHOP is helping to cure your Monday blues with the first-ever "Milkshake Monday" that benefits a good cause and offers all-you-can-eat milkshakes at select locations.

The promotion comes after a viral video showed comedian and actor Adam Sandler leaving an IHOP restaurant because of a wait. After the TikTok made its rounds online Adam responded, joking that he left the IHOP because the "all-you-can-eat deal didn't apply to milkshakes."

IHOP responded by creating "Milkshake Monday" which is happening today. When you order a milkshake at any IHOP today $1 from your purchase will benefit Comedy Gives Back, an organization that is raising funds for comedians that are struggling due to COVID-19 related closures at comedy clubs and venues. At select locations on Long Island, 19 restaurants are also offering All-You-Can-Drink milkshakes between 12 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Original Post, May 7, 2021: Clear your schedule for this upcoming Monday because IHOP is having an in-restaurant offer like never before. On May 10, you can get All-You-Can-Eat milkshakes from the chain in participating areas and you have Adam Sandler to thank.

ICYMI: A TikTok went viral earlier this week that showed Adam Sandler leaving an IHOP after being told the wait time by the hostess. He responded to the video after it made its rounds online with one simple tweet stating: "For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes."

Well, IHOP heard Adam's plea loud and clear and is hosting "Milkshake Monday" on May 10. At IHOP locations nationwide when you enjoy a milkshake this upcoming Monday it will go toward a good cause. For every milkshake sold nationwide, IHOP will be donating $1 each to an organization called Comedy Gives Back. The mission of Comedy Gives Back is to be a safety net for the comedy community as their struggle amid forced closures of comedy clubs and venues due to COVID-19. Last year Adam headlined a Comedy Gives Back Laugh Aid livestream to raise funds.

For those lucky enough to live on Long Island, 19 restaurants will be offering All-You-Can-Drink milkshakes from 12 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Chief Marketing Officer of IHOP Kieran Donahue said the Milkshake Monday campaign is just one way the chain keeps fans on their toes.
