The line between breakfast and every other meal is getting more and more blurred but, hey, I'm not complaining! IHOP has added a few things to their menu that will fill you up no matter the time of day, including a new sweet and spicy syrup and creme brûlée pancakes.
IHOP has added two new meals to their offerings: a Kickin' Maple Chicken breakfast and a Crepes & Cakes breakfast. The Kickin' Maple Chicken is where the sweet and spicy syrup comes in and it's bound to change the way you look at breakfast.
This meal comes with a buttermilk fried chicken breast lathered in the sweet and spicy syrup, four slices of bacon, two eggs, hash browns, two buttermilk pancakes, and toast. If you've ever felt skeeved out by your syrup touching your eggs or hash browns while on the same breakfast plate, this version will change that. Since it has that hint of spice. it can go on with pretty much any breakfast food flawlessly. Basically, I'd recommend getting some extra on the side for dipping, too.
The Crepes & Cakes breakfast comes with two sweet crepes topped with glazed strawberries, vanilla cream drizzle, two pancakes, two slices of bacon, two sausages, two pieces of ham, two eggs, and hash browns. With all the sides considered, this breakfast is sure to keep you full and satiate your sweet tooth and your savory side.
IHOP has also added creme brûlée pancakes to their selection which is made with pancakes, vanilla creme brûlée custard cream, caramelized sugar, and whipped cream. These pancakes can be ordered alone or as part of a combo.
So it's really not a matter of ordering from IHOP or not (because now you obviously have to), it's more about the tough decision you'll have to make between these new options. One of each sound good?
