IHOP Is Launching A New Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Menu With 8 New Dishes
If we were waffles, we'd be very scared right now. IHOP announced it's expanding its all-day menu by launching Buttermilk Crispy Chicken, made with all-natural chicken breast and a signature seasoning blend.
The Buttermilk Crispy Chicken menu features eight new items, including Chicken & Pancakes which combines classic buttermilk pancakes with four breaded chicken breasts. Hot tip: Crispy Chicken & Pancakes are available for $6.99 for a limited time at participating IHOP restaurants nationwide.
“Our new Crispy Buttermilk Chicken menu was developed with both quality and taste in mind, featuring all-natural chicken breasts and breast strips that are dipped in our proprietary Buttermilk batter and perfectly seasoned breading before being fried to a crispy, golden brown that’s still juicy on the inside,” said Brad Haley, Chief Marketing Officer at IHOP, in a press release.
In addition to Chicken & Pancakes, the crispy chicken lineup features other offerings like Crispy Chicken & Bacon Cheddar Waffles, a Spicy Buffalo Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and Boneless Buffalo Chicken Strips & Fries. So, IHOP isn't trying to take down chicken and waffles completely, but we see where they're going with this.
