Idris Elba Just Got Married in Morocco and the Photos Are Stunning

• After getting engaged in February, the two tied the knot during a ceremony this weekend in Morocco.

Sorry, ladies: Idris Elba is officially no longer an eligible bachelor.

On Friday, the actor wed his model girlfriend Sabrina Dhowre at the Ksar Char Bagh hotel in Marrakesh, Morocco, according to British Vogue. The magazine-who exclusively reported the news and the first photos of the newlyweds-reports that while Elba wore a custom suit by designer Ozwald Boateng Dhowre, the bride wore two bespoke dresses created by Vera Wang.

And their official "I Do's" were only the beginning. The couple spread their wedding celebrations out over three days, including a themed dinner party the night before their ceremony, plus an all-white party that will follow the celebrations this weekend at the Mandarin Oriental.

According to People, Elba, now 46, and first met Dhowre while working on the 2017 thrilled film The Mountain Between Us. In February, the couple got engaged after Elba-a veteran of The Wire and BBC's Luther-popped the question following a screening of his directorial debut film, Yardie. "It was a little spontaneous if I’m honest,” he told People of his proposal. “I was at a cast and crew screening and among people I loved. We had all worked so hard for this project so I was like I’m doing it right now, here, today.”

And back in March, the bride celebrated her bachelorette party with friends at the Amangiri resort in Utah, sharing a photo with her bridal part with a bridal emoji.
