Idina Menzel Uses TikTok She-Hulk Filter to Channel Elphaba From 'Wicked'

Idina Menzel had different plans for a new She-Hulk-themed filter that makes users appear completely green.
In a TikTok video shared by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actress, 51, put the filter to better use while channeling her iconic Wicked character, Elphaba—AKA the Wicked Witch of the West.
"She-Hulk filter my a*s," Menzel stated in the clip before snapping her fingers and turning completely green. She even broke into song, singing a snippet from Elphaba's classic song, "Defying Gravity."
She later commented on the video—which was captioned, "The #SheHulk filter is giving Elphaba vibes 💚"—with a series of checkmark emojis, which were aptly colored green.
Wicked fans took to the comments to gush over seeing Menzel as Elphaba again, almost two decades after originating the character in the Broadway musical, which debuted in 2003.
"I've been waiting for this one," one user commented.
"The real Green Queen! 💚," another wrote.

"Jimmy I want to thank you for this on behalf of every theatre kid! We needed this 😂💖💖," someone else added.
Menzel appeared on The Tonight Show on Thursday, Sept. 29, where she discussed another one of her beloved characters, Queen Elsa from Frozen.
"I loved Frozen 2, by the way," Fallon stated, "I thought it held up to the original, and it was great."
"We would love a Frozen 3," he added, to which Menzel replied, "I'd love it 'cause I'd like to pay my son's college," prompting a laugh from Fallon and the audience. (Menzel shares 13-year-old son Walker with ex-husband Taye Diggs.)
"But you just keep crushing it," the late-night host continued. "Besides that—Wicked—you've had some giant roles."
"Yeah, I try to do one giant role a decade," she quipped.
