Idina Menzel Puts Drastic Hair Transformation on Display in Instagram Reveal Video

Idina Menzel is starting 2023 with an updated look, which may just incite a new hair trend.
The entertainer recently took to Instagram to debut her fresh hairdo, and it's a dramatic change-up from how the former Glee actress has styled her hair for the last few years.
In the new video shared by Menzel on Tuesday, Jan. 17, the Rent star playfully ran her fingers through her chic–and very short–bob, pausing only to smile and flirt with the camera as Lizzo's hit "Scuse Me" could be heard playing over the clip.

"So this happened today. 💇🏻♀️," Menzel revealed in the caption, also making sure to tag the stylist and person responsible for the drastic change, celebrity hairstylist Paul Norton.
Norton later chimed in, leaving a few fire emojis in the comments.
Fellow Frozen series voice actress Kristen Bell cheered her pal on in the comments, exclaiming, "SO CUTE, SISTER!!!"

Cinderella screenwriter Kay Cannon also complimented Menzel's new look, writing, "I love it!"
Menzel's new hair debut comes just a few months after the release of Disenchanted, the sequel to the 2007 hit Enchanted, which premiered in Nov. 2022. Whether her new haircut was made as a personal choice or in preparation for an upcoming project is currently unclear.
But what we know for sure is whether long or short, Menzel finds a way to make every haircut look fabulous!
