The Identity of Matthew Perry's Mystery Companion Confirmed

The mystery woman who was spotted with Matthew Perry the day before he died, has now come forward to confirm her identity.
Athenna Crosby, a 25-year-old model and entertainment reporter, recently confirmed that she was the woman seen in photos with the late Friends star on Friday, Oct. 27.
The pair was photographed together at the Hotel Bel-Air on Friday night, where they appeared to be enjoying a meal together. Perry died the next day on Saturday, Oct. 28 while at his home in Los Angeles. He was 54.
After the photos of Crosby's dinner with the late actor made headlines in the wake of his passing, the pageant winner took to Instagram to explain why she has been trying to keep things private regarding her personal relationship with Perry.
"Yes that is me with him this past Friday," Crosby wrote on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, alongside a photo of the sighting, which was obtained by TMZ.
"I want to emphasize that Matthew was in extremely good spirits, and talked to me enthusiastically about the things that he had coming up in his life," she explained in her post, adding that Perry was "so happy & vibrant."
Crosby also asked the public to "Please refrain from any speculation surrounding his death and know that the man was on a comeback and truly deserved more time on this earth."
She concluded her message with the statement, "Our entertainment industry has truly lost a legend. RIP."
In another Instagram Story, Crosby explained that she is "devastated" over Perry's death, but that she "felt it was in poor taste to talk about it publicly."
"He was an extremely private person and I always respected that in our friendship," she continued, noting that she was one of the last people to see Perry before his tragic death.
