Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce turned Saturday Night Live into a one-of-a-kind date night–and on the show's first day back from the nearly five-month-long WGA strike.

The two crashed the Oct. 14 episode of the late-night comedy sketch show with one surprising cameo after the other. First up was the 34-year-old NFL star, who only chimed in to mock how much media attention he and the "Cruel Summer" songstress' romance has earned.

The sketch saw a handful of SNL pros parodying Fox's coverage of past Sunday night football games with Kenan Thompson as Curt Menefee, Mikey Day as Howie Long, James Austin Johnson as Jimmy Johnson, Devon Walker as Michael Strahan and Molly Kearney as Terry Bradshaw.

Thompson eventually passed it over to Pete Davidson, who was on the sidelines of the big game at MetLife Stadium in a full Swiftie getup—an arm full of friendship bracelets, a pink cowboy hat, and a "13" hand tattoo. He joked that "Taylor was nowhere to be seen."

The two continued back and forth with some jokes about the NFL's decision to capitalize on the budding Swift-Kelce romance before Thompson turned to the camera and said, "When we get back, we are going to speak with someone who actually wants to talk football." In response, Kelce excitedly popped up, saying, “Yes, please!”

Moments after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's cameo wrapped up, Swift appeared on screen to introduce her friend, Ice Spice, for her second performance of the night.

Following a commercial break, the 33-year-old Grammy winner came out sporting a super trendy black corset top and black slacks before welcoming the rapper to the stage, "Once again, Ice Spice."

Even though she only spoke four words, Swift's cameo took the internet by storm.

"if you had told me a year ago that taylor swift and ice spice would be bffs i would’ve been so confused," one X (formerly Twitter) user replied.

"mother is mothering with this all black look," cheered another.

A third joked, "Girlfriend and Boyfriend made cameos tonight. #SNL."

Though the two have yet to publicly call each other their significant other, photos of the duo leaving the Saturday Night Live studios showed them walking hand-in-hand. And rumor has it, the two may even attend the Jets game tonight to root on Kelce's brother, Jason, who plays for the opposing team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
