Friends of the ocean, get ready. Shark Week is officially back for its 34th year, and Discovery Channel is promising a lot of content that's sure to get your heart racing.

With Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the 2022 Shark Week host (a.k.a. Master of Ceremonies), fans can expect a week full of programming dedicated to their favorite sea creature. After kicking off the Shark Week schedule on July 24, viewers have had the chance to learn about how different sharks interact with one. What's more, celebrity guests will also incorporate the powerful predator into their shows, like Impractical Jokers Shark Week Spectacular and Tracy Morgan Presents: Sharks! with Tracy Morgan.

This exciting lineup is sure to shine a light on this incredible fish while simultaneously making us a bit more intrigued about them. Now, you may be wondering how you can watch Shark Week, as it famously lives on a popular cable channel. Or you may be trying to figure out if it's streaming on sites like Disney+. Well, we did some diving (pun intended) to help you find out how to get the most out of Shark Week before it ends on July 30.

Here's what you need to know about watching and streaming Shark Week online.

Where to watch and stream Shark Week 2022:

When it comes to Shark Week, there are multiple places you can watch all the programming. If you have cable, then head over to Discovery Channel on your TV to watch the shows live. Don't have cable but still catch it live? Then you can check out Shark Week via FuboTV or Sling. Bonus: Sling is currently offering customers half off for their first month, so it's worth checking out.

If you don't have access to cable, don't worry — Discovery Channel has got you covered. The platform created their own streaming site, Discovery+, which will have all the Shark Week content you desire. If you don't have an account, you can try out a limited-time offer of $0.99 for the first two months. After that, you can opt into plans starting at $6.99 per month. Discovery+ also offers students and military families plans from $2.99 per month.

Viewers who already have an account can access Shark Week's official page on Discovery+'s website or from the Discovery+ app as well. Lastly, to answer folks' question about Shark Week being available on Disney+, it's not. That said, there's still plenty of shark shows to explore courtesy of National Geographic.
