It’s such a shame when things from our childhood get taken away. First, it was Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, Florida back in 2005. Now, the Nickelodeon on Sunset building is being torn down. The building, located in Los Angeles, California, served as the home of some of Nickelodeon’s top television shows back in the day, like Victorious, iCarly, and Drake and Josh. It also housed All That, starting with their third season.

The news was shared by Victorious star Victoria Justice, who seemed sad to report the news. Understandably, the studio was a second home to her and many of the other young stars that Nickelodeon employed. Justice taped a video to share with her fans on social media that included a brief, outdoor tour of the building, giving fans a few behind-the-scenes facts years after the show wrapped up.

“Here’s something really weird and sad and crazy,” she says in the video. “This is where we used to film Victorious, right here at Nick on Sunset. And it is now being demolished and torn down, and it’s crazy.”

Justice also looked through a gated portion of the building and said that that’s where the cast used to film all of their lunch scenes. She noted that the scenes often got disrupted by homeless people yelling from the outside, which she admitted was sad, yet somewhat amusing.

At the end, she tagged a bunch of her Victorious co-stars, including Ariana Grande. Grande played Cat Valentine on the show, which aired for four seasons between 2010 and 2013.

“Rest in peace, Nick on Sunset. Thanks for all the good times and the memories, and I’ll never forget you,” Justice said.

It’s a shame to see such a big part the network’s history come to an end, and hope that other Nickelodeon stars will get a chance to pay their respects. Miranda Cosgrove? Jennette McCurdy? We’d love to hear some of your memories.
