Sandler posed with his wife, Jackie Sandler, who wore a black minidress, tights, and black pointy pumps. Later in the evening, he was honored with the People’s Icon Award, presented by his longtime friend and co-star, Jennifer Anniston.
The People’s Choice Awards, which solicit votes from fans and the general public, originated in 1975. The 49th annual ceremony takes place on Feb. 18 at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles. Hosted by “Barbie” star Simu Liu, the award show’s categories span multiple pop culture mediums including music, television, film and sports.
