In Hunter Schafer’s new horror film, Cuckoo, she plays a teenager who finds herself haunted by visions when she goes to stay at a resort in the German Alps with her dad’s new family. Personally, I’m going to find myself having visions of the actor’s two stunning back-to-back looks, which she wore while attending the Berlin International Film Festival this week.
For her first look, which she wore while promoting Cuckoo, the Euphoria star was the definition of elegance in a white, swanlike ensemble courtesy of Acne Studios. Pulled from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection, the white maxi column dress featured plumes of feathers sticking out in sprigs, looking almost like tiny unicorn tails. Schafer (and her stylist, @dara._) paired the angelic dress with moss- green ballet flats from Maison Margiela. Beauty-wise, Schafer had her hair pulled back into a bun, with a few strands left dangling in front of her face, and she also went for a smoky hot-pink eye shadow.
Both of these beauty elements were repeated when Schafer turned up on a different red carpet in the same day, for the film A Different Man. For this appearance, Schafer wore a look from the Maison Margiela Spring/Summer Haute Couture collection (one of the most thrilling collections from Haute Couture week). It was quite a tonally different fit, given that the collection embraced the gritty underground of Paris.
The look included a slate underskirt layered beneath a waterfall of olive fringe that was decorated with abstract circular designs along the hips. This skirt was paired with an off-the-shoulder taupe sweater and what appeared to be the same flats Schafer was wearing earlier in the day.
