Hunter Schafer Confirms She and Rosalía Dated Back in 2019

Hunter Schafer has just revealed that she and Rosalía were in a romantic relationship for five months back in 2019.

In a new interview with GQ, the Euphoria star was asked about her friendship with the Spanish pop star, to which she smiled and said that she had talked it over with Rosalía the night before, and she was able to confirm that they dated for five months in the fall and winter of 2019.

“It’s been so much speculation for so long,” Schafer said. “Part of us just wants to get it over with, and then another part is like, ‘It’s none of anybody’s fucking business!’” However, the model added, “It’s something I’m happy to share. And I think she feels that way too.”

As editor Emma Carmichael writes, Schafer said, “It took her a few hangs to suss out the vibe and determine that [she and Rosalía] were, in fact, going on dates.” Now though, the pair are just friends. “I have really beautiful friendships with people that I was once romantically involved with,” Schafer said. Of ex Rosalía, the Cuckoo star added, “She’s family no matter what.”

Currently, Schafer is single (as she notes in the article), while Rosalía has recently been romantically involved with The Bear actor Jeremy Allen White. The two have been linked since late 2023, and throughout the beginning of the new year, they were spotted engaging in some serious PDA on the streets of Los Angeles.
