Hunter McGrady Just Launched the Plus-Size Swim Collection You'll Covet All Summer
Swimsuit season is in full swing. And if you're anything like us, you're in search of the perfect fitting suit. Not only that, you're in search of a special suit that's fresh. This season, if fresh is what you want, it's what you're going to get! Curvy model Hunter McGrady has teamed up with London-based brand Playful Promises to bring us a beautifully curated capsule that's sure to get you through the summer in style.
Who better than McGardy to dress us in the best suits? After all, she's a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model! That means a girl knows how to perfectly rock a bikini and knows what's missing from the market. "I wasn’t seeing swimsuits that really encompasses every woman. This collection is fun, sexy, playful, and beautiful, something for everyone," says McGrady. "We focused on fit, support, and of course, gorgeous styles!"

The summer is a time to kick back and enjoy fun in the sun but as women, sometimes we can be so harsh on our bodies. McGrady wants women to feel not only beautiful in swimsuits but empowered. "You know, we only feel uncomfortable in swim because society has made us believe that we should be. Others gasp at the sight of a stretch mark or cellulite or a roll but really, when you look around, we all have something. It’s time to embrace that and strut your stuff," says McGrady.
We can expect 10 amazing suits all priced under $75, which is almost unheard of for quality swim. "I wanted this to be available for everyone, thus being price conscious," says McGrady. "I can’t stand when I see something beautiful and it’s off-the-charts expensive. I also wanted people to be able to get a couple suits for summer so they can switch them out."
Each piece runs from sizes 12-20 and 38-42C-F for wired styles. So if you're in the market for something new, trust the supermodel, activist, and now swimsuit designer who knows killer style. "My inspiration for this collection was, dare I say, me! I wanted to create something that I've always wanted," says McGrady. "I never had a swimsuit that I absolutely loved, so I had to make it myself."

I'd love to see women of all sizes and color be everywhere: makeup ads, show ads, skincare, covers of magazines! I want more brands to expand! 67% of America is a size 14 or above.. so they’re missing the mark!"
