Kenzo, Stella McCartney, Target, Peter Rabbit, Jimmy Choo, Rag & Bone and Noir Kei Ninomiya are just a few names that have collaborated with Hunter Boots over the years, interpreting the footwear company’s beloved rain boot silhouettes by imbuing their DNA into each silhouette, while paying homage Hunter’s heritage design details.

Hunter x Kenzo

Hunter and Kenzo’s collaboration serves as a nod to the “East Meets West” connection, paying homage to the Ivy League spirit referenced in the collection. The capsule collection features both high and mid-top styles inspired by 1960s duck-hunting boots, available in a mix of rubber, suede and leather all cast in Hunter’s quintessential green and black injected with bright Kenzo red. The collaboration includes styles for both men and women.
Hunter x Swarovski x Elton John

In celebration of Elton John’s performance of his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” concert at the Glastonbury Festival held in Somerset, Eng., Hunter Boots has created a limited run of their Original Tall Boots inspired by the iconic musician. Each style featured colorful striped detailing on the back of each shoe and an “E” star motif on the durable rubber uppers dotted with high-shine Swarovski crystals. A secondary style was made as a one-off for the musician.
Hunter x Thames MMXX

Hunter teamed up with Thames MMXX to bring their beloved boot styles into the world of skateboarding. The two-piece footwear collection includes short and tall styles that merge the footwear brand’s design DNA with that of Thames MMXX’s. The boots are designed in the streetwear brand’s signature harlequin print in neutral green and black accompanied by Thames MMXX’s graphic crown logo.

Hunter x Noir Kei Ninomiya

Unveiled during Noir Kei Ninomiya’s spring 2023 collection, the collaborative footwear collection includes interpretations of Hunter’s beloved Original Tall Rain Boot. Each style includes BDSM-inspired harness detailing, a design staple of Noir Kei Ninomiya’s. The boots went down the runway accompanied by sculptural floral-inspired pieces in vibrant hues. The collaborative styles are still available for purchase on Bergdorf Goodman and on resale sites including Farfetch.

Hunter x Extra Butter

The limited-edition collaboration centers around Hunter’s natural Rubber PLAY Rain Boot model reimagined with unique gothic floral accents via way of the creatives at Extra Butter. The boots take inspiration from true crime documentaries and small-town murder mysteries. The footwear is accompanied by a removable gaiter featuring purple fleece accents and a matching set of high-performance gardening gloves. When the gaiter is rolled down, it reveals cargo pockets that the wearer can use to stow away personal objects.
Hunter x “Killing Eve”

The special Hunter capsule with the famed BBC show features two new styles: a mid-calf boot called “The Hunting,” which is available in black and olive, and a knee-high style called “The Chasing” in black, olive, or camel. Both silhouettes are made from waterproof leather, light rubber, and recycled ballistic nylon with a recycled vegan shearling lining.
Hunter x Disney

Hunter’s capsule collection with Disney included boots, bags and accessories for men women and children inspired by the brand’s beloved mascot of sorts, Mickey Mouse. Celebrating the iconic character, standout styles include reworked versions of classic Hunter styles like the Original Tall, Short and Chelsea boots. Each boot features a Mickey Mouse 3D stamp. The adult styles are 100% waterproof and vegan while the kid’s styles are playful and bright.
Hunter x Peter Rabbit

Coinciding with the release of “Peter Rabbit 2: The Runway,” Hunter created accessories and footwear inspired by the beloved Beatrix Potter tale. The playful collaboration includes two vegetable-themed Original Tall rain boots for women, along with three Classic Wellington boots for kids featuring a whimsical rabbit print throughout. The collection also includes three Pull On Wellington boot options. Beyond footwear, the collection included kid’s backpacks and a keyring.
Hunter x Stella McCartney
Release Date: Sept. 10 and Sept. 16, 2019.

Hunter and Stella McCartney’s collaborative effort was first spotted on the runway during the designer’s fall 2019 show in Paris. The collection centers around the brand’s ankle-length Wellington boot and is crafted of sustainable rubber and Yulex, an innovative material. The resulting boot is minimalistic and sleek featuring sculpted soles and co-branding throughout. The boot came in “Clatter Grey,” “Olive” and “Black” colorways.
Hunter x Target

Hunter’s collaboration with the retailer is part of an initiative that Target put in place to bring back nearly 300 original, iconic items from 20 past designers including apparel, accessories, home decor and kitchen necessities. Beyond Hunter, this re-upped collection includes the likes of Isaac Mizrahi, Ann Sui, Stephen Sprouse, Proenza Schouler and Rodarte. The release of the rainboot styles in collaboration with Target was a hot commodity upon release and included a variety of colorful silhouettes.
Hunter x “Peppa Pig”

Inspired by the beloved kids’ television show, Hunter created a limited-edition collection made for the young and imaginative fans of “Peppa Pig.” The collection includes a range of boots that feature motifs of Peppa and her little brother George. The collection is made for children ages 2 to 5.
