Hulu's "Little Fires Everywhere" Releases New Official Trailer

We're moving to Shaker Heights.

If you’re a fan of Celeste Ng’s work, get ready because a new trailer for the highly-anticipated adaption of Little Fires Everywhere has just arrived.

Ahead of the mini-series’ premiere on March 18, and following the first trailer that dropped in January, Hulu has unveiled another look at the adaptation, lead by Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington.

Much like the book, the trailer opens with a startled Elena Richardson, played by Reese, as she stares at her burning house and the not-so-little fire that sets the narrative in motion. “Someone burned down your house with you inside,” a Shaker Heights’ police officer proclaims. “Elena, do you know anyone that would do this?”

Set in Ohio and based on Celeste Ng’s 2017 bestseller of the same name, Little Fires Everywhere follows the story of the Richardson family, helmed by picture-perfect and silver-tongued matriarch Elena. In the trailer, with a series of cutout clips we are introduced to the members of the Richardson family. Starting with her husband Bill, a leading lawyer played by Joshua Jackson, and their offspring — the eldest child and family-oriented Lexie (Jade Pettyjohn), roguish jock Trip (Jordan Elsass), sweet Moody (Gavin Lewis), and rebellious Izzy (Megan Stott).

We also meet Mia and Pearl Warren, the mother-daughter duo played by Kerry Washington and Lexi Underwood, who shake up the Richardsons’ lives upon their arrival in Shaker Heights. Mia is an artist that has adopted somewhat of a nomadic lifestyle ever since Pearl was born. By chance — or fate, or perhaps other ulterior motives… we’ll find out soon enough — the pair ends up in this tranquil and upscale Ohio neighborhood.

With motherhood as the connecting thread, the extended trailer offers a first glimpse at the intertwined dynamics between the two families and other residents of Shaker Heights. “Every mother has regrets. Every spark can start a fire,” the trailer ominously proclaims amid tense dramatic moments and heartwarming interactions.

Since Hulu's adaptation was announced back in 2018, many fans of the novel have been eagerly awaiting to see how the story would pan out on screen and it looks like we won't be disappointed. But, in case you have any doubts, you can watch the new trailer yourself below:
