Hugh Jackman is getting ready to suit up once again as Wolverine in Marvel's upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine, dropping this summer. And as he prepared to don the superhero outfit one more time, he also had to get back in superhero shape.

Jackman recently shared a little behind-the-scenes look at a piece of his training regimen for the film, giving a look at his bicep workout.

"When I was #becomingwolverineagain my friend and trainer Beth Lewis was always by my side," he wrote of the celebrity fitness trainer. "And so to was my trusted assistant Jonathan," he cracked, noting the assistant's accidental appearance in the video.

It's not the only tidbit of training info for the film he's shared. Last year, Jackman revealed the 8,000-calorie-per-day diet he was taking on to bulk up for the role. He previously spoke to Chris Wallace about transitioning from Broadway's The Music Man to the superhero role.

“I’ve learned you can’t rush it. I’ve learned that it takes time. So we have six months from when I finish [The Music Man] to when I started filming. And I’m not doing any other work. I’m going to be with my family and train. That’s going to be my job for six months," he said. "And I’m really fit right now. There’s one thing that about eight shows a week being on Broadway singing and dancing is I’m fit. So I’m healthy. I have a good place to start. And apologies chickens. Run a mile. Start running now because I’m coming for you.”

Jackman has been working with Lewis for years now, previously sharing a snap with the trainer back in early 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on July 26.
