Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, have been together for 25 years now — and they're still one of the cutest couples in Hollywood.

To commemorate their milestone anniversary, Hugh posted a carousel of photos from their wedding day on Instagram. Accompanying the pictures was a heartfelt caption that read, "Being married to you Deb is as natural as breathing. From nearly the moment we met ... I knew our destiny was to be together. In our 25 years - our love has only grown deeper. The fun, excitement and adventure more exhilarating; the learning even greater. I’m forever grateful to share our love, our life - and, our family together. We’ve only just begun. Deb, I love you with all my heart!"

This is far from the first time Hugh has gushed about his leading lady. In an interview with Today.com in 2018, Hugh said there was one specific thing that taught him Deborra-Lee was the love of his life.

For the actor, it all came down to feeling comfortable around her, even when he let his guard down. "When you're dating, you literally put on the best version of yourself," he said. "How do you transition from that person to actually truly being yourself? The tracksuit pant version of yourself."

When it comes to his relationship with Deborra-Lee, he felt that comfortable immediately when they met on the set of the Australian drama Correlli in 1995. "Until you feel that comfortable with your partner, you don't really know if you're right together. So literally from day one, Deb and I had that feeling," he said. "It was like a relief. I could just be myself. I am not saying we don't ever dress up or impress each other, but being comfortable is a key."

The couple got together long before Hugh became a household name. In fact, Deborra-Lee was the star when they met in their native Australia, and so she set some ground rules for their relationships and careers in entertainment.

"We are not going to spend more than two weeks apart, and we are not going to work at the same time if we don't have to financially. So, one of us is always there to support the other," Hugh said. "And we have maintained that ..."

The couple has two adopted children together, Oscar Maximilian, 20, and Ava Eliot, 15.
