Huda Beauty Is Launching Easy Bake Loose Setting Powders in 8 Shades

Huda Beauty is expanding its foundation footprint. Next month, the brand will be launching its Easy Bake Setting Powders, hoping to revolutionize your makeup routine in the process. Beauty vlogger turned makeup mogul Huda Kattan is part of a wave of beauty brands helping to modernize the beauty industry. Following in Fenty Beauty's footsteps, Huda Beauty earned praise last year for launching an impressive 30-shade foundation range. And this year, the beauty guru hinted at the release of a concealer to match the brand's inclusive steps into the foundation game.

This week, Huda announced the launch of yet another product for scoring flawless skin: Easy Bake Setting Powder, dropping online July 2. The "super luxurious" loose powder formula is extremely fine and comes in eight shades including a pure white (which we assume goes on translucent), three light shades (a warm, neutral and cool), two mid-range shades and two dark shades.

Despite the fact that the shade range could be bigger, Kattan dubbed Easy Bake a "game-changer" for your makeup routine. "We’ve always felt baking is one of the BIGGEST game changers for anyone’s makeup routine (even if you‘re not a cake face like me 🎂🙋🏽‍♀️), but so many people are scared to try, which is why we wanted to make baking foolproof!" she wrote on Instagram.

"Baking" refers to the process of using a setting powder to seal in a flawless finish after applying foundation and concealer. After allowing it to "bake" for about 10 minutes, you use a brush to dust the excess powder off. The result is a finish like an IRL Instagram filter.
