Houston Animal Shelter Celebrates Taylor Swift's Eras Tour With $13 Adoption Fees

If you're ready to give a shelter cat the best day of their lives by bringing them home forever, Taylor Swift might be giving you the perfect chance to do so. Her Eras tour stops in Houston, Texas on the weekend of April 21, and one local animal shelter found the perfect way to honor the queen of cat moms.
The Houston Humane Society's 'Forever Home Era,' happening from April 17-23, features $13 adoption fees for cats who have been in the shelter for 30 days or longer. No matter what your style is, this shelter just might have a cat who makes you say, "you belong with me!"
How adorably clever is this? Every Swiftie can appreciate the way this shelter incorporated Taylor's love story between her and her cats in their own campaign, and if this doesn't make you want to adopt a new babe--we don't know what will!

Remember--the $13 adoption fees only apply to cats who have been waiting for a getaway car for over a month. Their online profiles don't specify this information, however, so you'll have to speak now and inquire with the shelter about which animals are eligible.
We're filled with happiness now that we've found this purr-fect adoption event, though we'll admit, maybe we should've said no to all the song title puns. It was a lot more treacherous than we expected!
