Hotels.com Will Pay for Your Dream Honeymoon If You're Willing to Shout It Out in Your Wedding Vows

Let’s be real — one of the best parts of getting married is getting to go on a honeymoon. The only potential downside to that dream trip may be the cost. In fact, the average couple spends around $4,466 on a honeymoon, which is most certainly a lot of dough. But, if you’re getting married soon, Hotels.com may be willing to foot the bill for you. All you need to do is give them a shout out in your vows.

Hotels.com is celebrating the release of a very special episode of Mindy Kaling’s new Hulu series, Four Weddings and a Funeral. Spoiler alert: In Wednesday night’s episode, characters Craig and Zara finally walk down the aisle. But, in true millennial style, the duo has their entire wedding sponsored by Hotels.com. Zara even sports a Hotels.com-branded veil during her vows.

In honor of this hilarious and slightly tacky style, Hotels.com is giving away the honeymoon of a lifetime to one special couple so they too can live out their #SponsoredContent dreams. But there’s a catch. The hotel booking website will hand over $15,000 to one couple for their trip so long as they incorporate “Hotels.com” into their actual wedding vows.

Here’s how it works: From Sept. 15 to 23, couples must ask a wedding guest or family member to film their vows during their wedding ceremony. Just make sure to film the part where you say “Hotels.com.” Then, couples must upload that video to Twitter or Instagram and tag @hotelsdotcom and use the hashtag #HotelsSponConVows. One winning couple will be chosen by Oct. 1. (See more of the fine print on how the contest works on hotels.com.)
