We can bet that you've never stayed in (or seen) a hotel like this one before. Turkish architectural design studio Hayri Atak has proposed this jaw-dropping accommodation (complete with a super scary hanging pool), and the internet isn't sure what to make of it.

The proposed boutique hotel in question would be built into Norway's famous Preikestolen, a 1,982-foot cliff in the southern part of the country that has attracted a ton of tourists from around the world. In theory, the boutique hotel and hanging pool would overlook the Norwegian fjord and provide some incredible views of the Scandinavian wilderness.

You'd enter into the hotel through the rooftop entrance on the very top of the cliff while the rest of the rooms would be reached lower into the natural structure. Each floor would have its own observation deck, perfect for looking out onto the incredible cliffs and water below. The lowest level, on the deck, would feature a protruding pool with an entirely glass floor. As you swim, you'll be able to look down at the 2,000 foot drop below—we dare you not to freak out!

Daredevils and adrenaline junkies, don't start booking your flights to Norway just yet—as of right now, the boutique hotel proposal is still just a concept.

Hayri Atak is also responsible for a ton of other wild concept structures, like a translucent train station in Berlin and a spiral bird observation tower in Latvia—both of which we'd be happy to see (along with the cliff-side hotel) come to life.
