Hospitality Project Conceived by Benetton Brothers Opens Second Milan Location
MILAN — The Italian fashion capital has a new view.
21 House of Stories, the innovative hybrid hospitality project conceived by brothers Alessandro and Mauro Benetton, cut the ribbon on its second Milan location Thursday. Its most stunning features are panoramic views and the bar and restaurant laid out across two plazas called I Mirador (mirador means balconies or viewpoint in Spanish).

Management tapped two young chefs, Alessio Roberto Albiero and Diego Pioli, for its new Il Domenica bistro overlooking the Naviglio canal to formulate a menu based on dishes to be shared. The bar features a drink menu with signature cocktails, such as the bergamot Panache, the French 75 or the Allora Cosmo, which are served in bottles for an authentic sharing experience.
The new facility situated on Milan’s Naviglio Pavese canal includes a four-star design hotel with 104 rooms, coworking areas and spaces for private events.
Following the success of its first Milan location in Città Studi, 21 House of Stories took a bold step, opening a neighborhood that is in a phase of urban regeneration. Naviglio Pavese, which runs along Via Ascanio Sforza, sits on the quiet side of the historic canal area, where graffiti is part of the urban decor and design and fashion students populate its traditional buildings. “This is an effervescent neighborhood and we want to add something to its reality,” said Nicola Accurso, 21 House of Stories managing director. Accurso highlighted that the space features a stage to host talks and concerts to interact with the area, following in the footsteps of the Le Scimmie, a historic venue located on Via Ascanio Sforza that, until its closure, was a reference point for emerging artists of the Milanese music scene and beyond for years.
Rooms run in price from 300 euros to 1,000 euros and feature retractable design elements that give room to relaxation and fitness space. Its “superhero” suite, for example, spans about 864 square feet indoors and features about 1,080 square feet of terrace space designed to host private business or leisure events.
“We are very proud of this new destination on the Naviglio,” said Alessandro Benetton, who is also the founder of private equity group 21 Invest. “It’s a new location enhancing the city of Milan with an extraordinary space filled with charm and beauty, a unique place in which to live and enjoy a metropolis projected toward the future.”
