Hospital Celebrates Babies' 'Newborn Era' With Taylor Swift-Inspired Friendship Bracelets

In celebration of Taylor Swift's 34th birthday on Dec. 13, a hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania—in the county where Swift grew up—shared their special bracelets for newborns and their parents inspired by Swift's friendship bracelets worn by fans at her concerts.
Reading Hospital shared photos on Facebook, writing, "In celebration of Berks County native Taylor Swift's birthday, our babies are marking their ✨newborn era✨ today with adorable friendship bracelets from our staff!"
"Here’s to celebrating the spirit of connection and the beginning of many cherished bonds among our newest stars.🌟🥳," the message concluded.
The first photo showed off the pile of friendship bracelets made by the staff of Reading Hospital, with one reading "Newborn Era" on top, inspired by Swift's Eras Tour. Another couple of bracelets likely referencing Swift said, "Lucky Thirteen," "Lover," and "Fearless," while others read things like, "Joyful," "Believe," and of course, "Mom" and "Dad."
One person commented in support of the idea, writing, "Starting Taylor fans with a new generation! Lovely birth day gift!"
"I can’t love this more!! Such a sweet sweet thing to do! ❤️," said a second, while someone else wrote, "That's awesome. I hope Taylor sees this."
Friendship bracelets were a huge part of Swift's Eras Tour, with many Swifties, including Mariska Hargitay and Savannah Guthrie, taking part. The friendship bracelets also played a part in Swift getting together with her current beau, Travis Kelce, who tried to give Swift his number at a concert with his handmade bracelet.
Even now, as Swift's tour is on break, the singer-songwriter continues to rock the bracelets, paying tribute to her boyfriend Kelce with a couple of themed bracelets with his nickname, "Trav," and his jersey number, 87, on them.
