If you have a furry companion at home, chances are you have a yard for them to run around in. A space for those post-bath zoomies to be released, a spot to roll and itch their back in the crunchy brown grass on a hot summer day, and their favorite spot to run along the fences in their brown matted-down dirt trail barking at the same joggers that run by every single day. If you have a pup it doesn’t mean you have to have a not-so-pretty fence, in fact, one man shared with us a super cute sliding dog gate that's functional, pretty on the eyes, and doubles as a wonderful privacy fence… check it out!

There are many fencing options to choose from, wooden fences, PVC white picket fences, thick wrought iron fences, and the classic and most budget-friendly chain link fences. Chain link fences are popular options among homeowners because they are pretty cheap, easy to install, and sturdy enough to hold animals and children in. But they definitely don’t look the most eye appealing. This is why this man, Pinterest user @woodworkingprojectsbusiness’s sliding dog gate double fence is a brilliant one up from a chain link tradition fence.

The best part is that creating it is super simple, and his video acts as the perfect tutorial for doing so. Basically, he just makes a wooden frame out of inexpensive wood and fills it with the same siding he uses for his fence slats. He attaches caster wheels to the bottom of it and creates a sliding system with metal fittings and bolts. It's pretty simple so long as you follow his guide step by step!
