Homemade Gourmet Pizza for Dogs Is a Pampered Pooch’s Dream

Do you like cooking for your pooch? Some people go all out to spoil their pets with homemade meals, like Maori Blue's dad Rodrigo. I don't know if he's a chef or not, but by looking at the gourmet dishes he makes for his pups, he definitely could be!

In this video that was shared at the end of February 2024, Rodrigo is making gourmet pizza for Maori...and it's all from scratch. He starts by making a pizza crust out of quinoa, tops it with what looks like meat in a gravy sauce, and follows it with a variety of veggies, herbs, and cheese. This is all as Maori patiently watches on with a look of anticipation on her face. Sound on because you don't want to miss hearing her adorable snorts at the end!

This looks pretty good, and healthy! I think it's safe to say it's Maori approved, and I'm pretty certain no dog would turn that down! And I couldn't agree more with @lococolo who said, "Love it...looks good enough for me!" And another commenter added, "We need the recipes for all of the dishes!"

Why Make Your Dog Homemade Treats and Meals?

You might not have time to make gourmet dog meals daily, but even just occasionally is fun and your dog will love it! Why do people choose to make their dogs homemade meals and treats? One of the big reasons is because when you're buying ingredients and putting it all together you know exactly what your pooch is eating. Everything that you use is fresh, healthy, and good for them and it's nice to have control over what they're eating. If your dog has specific dietary needs, allergies, or medical issues, making their own treats and meals ensures that your dog is getting what they need, and also is a surefire way to make sure they're not eating anything that they can't have.

This American Bully eats better than a lot of people do! Her dad makes her steaks, sushi, and other homemade meals. He makes her yummy desserts, like these cute pawpsicles, which are super simple and super healthy.

There are so many yummy dog recipes out there! You can Google them or head over to Pinterest and get lost in recipes to make for your pup. These 4 ingredient doggy breath mints are ones that you'll always want to keep on hand, and all you'll need to make them is some spinach, parsley, mint, and unsweetened Greek yogurt. There's not a dog out there that doesn't like peanut butter, so make sure to keep this recipe for homemade PB and honey treats on hand. Dogs love their treats, and these dog treat recipes and dog biscuits are quick to throw together, simple to make, and nutritious. You can make your own homemade dog food, too!

We are currently thinking about getting a dog, and now that I've found all of these recipes, I can't wait to make them all for her!
