Home Town's Erin Napier Clapped Back at a Rude Online Comment in the Sassiest Way Ever

From Country Living

  • Erin Napier received a comment from a follower about her fridge.

  • The Home Town host posted a sassy response, and then shared the exchange on Instagram.

Erin Napier isn’t here for the negativity.

The Home Town star isn’t shy about sticking up for her and her husband Ben Napier’s daughter, Helen. Erin has shut down internet trolls who have made rude statements about her two-year-old before, and now she’s doing it again.

Erin shared an Instagram story recently of a note someone left on one of her posts, which she took as a slight toward her and her family. “Love your work!” the person wrote. “Please take the stuff off your fridge doors. I’m not sure when in history people made the refrigerator a memo board but it’s not good.”

In classic Erin fashion, she responded in a clear yet classy way. “So true!” she wrote. “Stainless steel is so much prettier than the drawing from my daughter on my birthday or her magnets that she holds up to proudly tell me ‘B! the daddy letter!’”

To make matters even more hilarious, Erin captioned the screenshot, “I will not stand for demonizing the fridge memo board.” (We totally agree, for what it's worth.)

Oof! She may seem like a sweet southern Belle but hell hath no fury like Erin’s fridge scorned.

The last time Erin made headlines for clapping back at online commenters was back in 2018 when someone called Helen, “really not adorable.”

“When you are on TV, social media is weird. Strangers feel like it’s okay to say something cruel, even about a 6 month old baby girl,” she said at the time. “It’s not a big deal, but this is your friendly reminder that TV people are real people. It’s better to be kind.”

A message worth remembering!
