'Home Town' Star Erin Napier's Fans Send Love After Emotional Instagram Post
Life moves pretty fast for HGTV’s Home Town star Erin Napier. Between filming Home Town and its spinoffs, raising two kids, writing best-selling books, and so much more, she definitely has her hands full. Even with a jam-packed schedule, Erin always prioritizes time with her family over anything else.
In a recent Instagram post, Erin reflects on her relationship with her dad Phil Rasberry. She said: “My brother sent me this photo of Daddy that was taken some 15 years ago probably. He looks like my brother. He looks my age. I facetimed Daddy this morning when the girls woke up, and we go see him or he comes over about every other day. I’m realizing (especially after reading This Time Tomorrow by @emmastraub) how important it is to keep learning about our parents, to keep calling them, inviting them over for breakfast or supper. I watch Ben’s face when the girls lean their heads into his shoulder and wrap their little arms around his neck and regret that I didn’t snuggle my dad more when I was little. Maybe I’ll try to start now. I guess it’s never too late?”
Of course, Erin's comment section was abuzz with encouraging and heartfelt messages and advice from a few of her 1.3 million(!!) followers. Some fans even shared their own regrets and sorrows about their relationships with their fathers. One commenter said, "This is beautiful, it's fascinating to grow up and think about where our parents were in their journey at our current age..." Tons of fans chimed in to reassure Erin that it is never too late to take advantage of the time she has left with her father.

We can all use advice like this every once in a while and Erin never fails to have her priorities right where they need to be. Plus, throwback Phil looks pretty snazzy posing on a boat. In Erin's case it took watching her own two girls with her husband Ben to realize the precious moments she had been missing out on with her own dad. We just love a good wholesome celebrity moment and Erin is just about as down to earth as they come.
