Home Depot’s newest addition to its infamous holiday animatronic collection is here—and according to TikTok, it's "trying to ruin Christmas."

You can now put a 6-foot Jack Frost from the classic Christmas movie The Year Without a Santa Claus in your front yard—but his glowing eyes, evil laugh, and overall demeanor don't exactly scream "Happy holidays." TikTok creator @dani_adamss posted a video that's gotten over 1.1 million views showing the wintery villain in action at a Home Depot. While she's evidently in shock, many comments (over 6,700 of them) expressed enthusiasm for Jack.

“I want it!!!! This is my type of Christmas,” one user wrote. Another commented, “I never decorate for Christmas, but I just might now if these are the available decorations.”

The spookification of Christmas is officially on trend, much to the delight of Halloween and horror stans. A search for #spookyChristmas on TikTok shows 20.4 million views of posts, and #gothmas has 40.7 million views and counting.

While holly jolly haunts may be new to you, there’s a long tradition of frightful beings and events surrounding the season: Santa Claus has an evil counterpart named Krampus, a half-goat, half-demon monster; according to Alex Matsuo, the founder of the Association of Paranormal, flying reindeer, winter solstice, and Frosty the Snowman all have frightful associations.

The merging of fall and winter holidays could also have something to do with spooky-themed Christmas trees and Nightmare Before Christmas decor popping up more on social media. These days, Halloween decorations show up in the middle of summer, and wreaths are hung before trick-or-treaters pick out their costumes. You can find Christmas trees and accessories available in black instead of traditional green, and skulls and ghosts are replacing of colorful ornaments. Plus, most stores move Halloween decor to the sale section starting November 1, so you can take advantage of discounts for an overnight transformation.

If a spooky Christmas sounds like your kind of holiday, go get your Jack Frost soon, as Home Depot's animated characters have proven to be in high demand. While you're at it, pick up a life-size animatronic Grinch too—your house will be at the top of everyone's list to see with those two greeting guests. And instead of ugly sweater parties, keep Halloween going through December and host gatherings dressed as your favorite holiday villain—you have plenty of characters to choose from.
