Yikes, looks like Bachelor Chris Soules' wrongful death lawsuit has ended with a massive payout. The reality star and his parents Gary and Linda Soules were ordered to pay $2.5 million in a settlement following a fatal April 2017 car accident, where Chris rear-ended a tractor in Iowa and killed 66-year-old farmer Kenny Mosher.

After the accident, Chris called 911 and performed CPR on Mosher. According to the Associated Press, he waited for first responders to arrive and then left the scene before the police came.

The former Bachelor was originally charged with a Class D felony, but this was reduced to an aggravated misdemeanor thanks to the fact that he plead guilty. He ended up being charged with "leaving the scene of a serious injury accident."

According to court documents obtained by WeAreIowa.com (via Us Weekly), yesterday's settlement states, “For the total consideration of $2,500,000.00, Nancy Mosher, Matthew Mosher, Michael Mosher, and the Estate of Kenneth Mosher (‘claimants’) hereby release and forever discharge Christopher Soules, Gary Soules, Linda Soules … from any and all liability whatsoever … arising out of an automobile accident that occurred on April 24, 2017."

Oh, but um, Chris still faces up to two years in prison.
