The dog days of summer have arrived, and with them comes a fresh crop of fashionable launches to mull over while languishing in the AC. From lunar cycle–inspired sofas to camouflage-style floral upholstery patterns, here are 10 memorable debuts from the past week.

CB2’s latest launch pays homage to the power of Black storytelling. Curated by Evan Jerry of Studio Anansi, the Black in Design Collective features 66 furnishings by 11 emerging designers across the globe. Inspired offerings include a Harlem barbershop–style dining chair by Luam Melake, a cast aluminum side table by Jerome Byron that mimics the louvered windows on homes in the Grenadines, and a hand-loomed rug with a cornrow-inspired geometric motif by Tavia Forbes and Monet Masters of Forbes+Masters.

Kelly Wearstler called on Chicago artist Christopher Gentner for a limited-edition furniture collaboration. The collection, Mock, is the latest introduction into the A-list designer’s Gallery series and offers a trio of postmodern architectural designs hand-sculpted from steel and finished in pewter, including a cocktail table, side table and bench.

Waterworks unveiled a showstopping assortment of marble bath fixtures. In addition to a floating sink fashioned from a solid Arabescato, introductions include a two-tiered washstand with a Carrara countertop and a stunning free-standing tub carved from highly figured aubergine-veined Prunella stone.

Los Angeles brand Studio Sam Klemick’s second collection is every bit as characterful as it is eco-conscious. The six-piece series is hand-crafted entirely from recycled materials—including dead-stock cotton canvas and lumber salvaged from demolition sites—and is adorned in artisanal details, such as a lounge chair with patchwork-quilt-style cushions and a wavy upholstered bench with oversize wooden ball feet forged from recovered ceiling beams.

Luxury rug manufacturer Patterson Flynn tapped Miles Redd for the Deconstructed Stripe collection. Drawing from the beloved Schumacher fabric of the same name, the debut offers four hand-tufted rugs dressed in a graphic linear motif in colorways including cobalt, gray and emerald green.

Wolf-Gordon introduced the Quiet Riot collection in collaboration with textile designer Dorothy Cosonas. The fashion-forward selection features seven rhythmic upholstery and wallcovering designs that explore the interconnectedness of pattern and color, including the abstract floral, camouflage-esque Mischief fabric and the ikatlike, leopard-spotted Purr.

Ward + Gray’s debut rug collection is a love song to natural landscapes. The line spans seven hand-knotted styles woven from natural fibers, and outfitted in patterns and hues that draw from the great outdoors, such as the wildflower-filled Blue Moon, the beach-inspired Dune and the two-toned Terracotta by the Sea.

Adriana Hoyos dropped a celestial furniture collection called Lua. Inspired by lunar cycles, the 21-piece series—which includes sofas, swivel chairs, tables and more—showcases highly touchable textures that mimic the surface of craters and silhouettes shaped like the various phases on the moon.

At Atlanta Market, Rochelle Porter rolled out a line of summer-ready wallpapers titled On Holiday. Teeming with tropical motifs and escapist patterns, the collection boasts eight vibrant designs printed on a durable vinyl alternative made from recycled plastic bottles, including the metallic-finished Dagger and the kaleidoscopic Like Paradise.

Holly Hunt’s 40th anniversary collection, HH40, is on full display inside its New York showroom at the A&D Building. The series offers 18 intricately crafted furniture and lighting designs clad in tactile materials and artisanal accents, such as a sandy-dune-inspired lounge chair with a hand-carved walnut base, and a marble-topped cocktail table with a cast-bronze frame named after volcanic craters.
