Holland Taylor Reacts to Ireland Baldwin Naming Her New Baby After Her

Holland Taylor is giving her stamp of approval to Ireland Baldwin's firstborn's monicker.

The 27-year-old model announced that she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Friday, May 18 in a sweet Instagram post that featured a photo of her and her boyfriend, RAC (whose real name is André Allen Anjos) as she held the new bundle of joy in her arms while laying in the hospital bed.

Following the sweet announcement, the 80-year-old Legally Blonde actress shared some kind words for the new parents who got the inspiration to name their daughter Holland, partly after the actress herself.

"It is with a special and affectionate delight that I congratulate you, Ireland, and sing out welcome to your darling Holland -!," the actress wrote in the comments of Baldwin's post.

"*faints* thank you🥹," Baldwin responded.

Aside from Taylor, many celebrity friends and family took to the comments to congratulate the new parents on their bundle of joy, including cousin Hailey Bieber, who wrote, "😍😍😍😍 holland!!!!!!!"

"But you look so pretty," cousin Alaia Baldwin wrote, along with stepmother Hilaria Baldwin, who shared two red heart emojis in the comments.

"congrats mom & dad!!!🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼," Ashley Graham wrote. Meanwhile, Meghan Trainor also chimed in, exclaiming, "OMG YAYYYYYY CONGRATSSSSS MAMA😍."

Back in January, Baldwin made an appearance on the Girlboss Radio podcast where she revealed the inspiration behind her new baby girl's name.

"We're naming her Holland. I'm Ireland, so another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent," she said with a chuckle.

"And then I love the actress Holland Taylor. I've always loved that name since I was young, I just thought that was such a classy, beautiful name, so we're going with Holland," Baldwin added.

It's nice to see Taylor approves of the little one's name!
