Welcome to Hook’d! Every Wednesday, we bring you insights, tips, and deals in fashion, tech, home, and more, via a rotating roster of in-the-know hosts. This week’s episode features Yahoo’s TV style correspondent Chassie Post, on-air personality and Youtuber Kennedy Johnson and TV host and beauty expert Sandra Vergara.

With holidays coming up – and all of the traveling and last-minute outfit sourcing that typically come with them – the ladies go on a hunt for the perfect cozy sweater (as in, one that looks as good as it feels). Enter the UGET Women’s Sweater Casual Oversized Pullover, a certain knit that’s been getting rave reviews (5,000 and counting) and has a near five-star rating on Amazon.

Chassie’s Take

While Chassie jokes “it’s called UGET because so many people have gotten it,” she’s quick to point out that this sweater, which is available in a whopping 27 shades and patterns and is available in both short and long-sleeve versions, is “anything but basic” and can be worn to fit a variety of styles and occasions.

“What I love about it is it’s super versatile. It’s the perfect weight for layering,” says Chassie, who demonstrates how her tan sweater, paired with a boho skirt and belt, can easily be tied around the neck to add an extra touch of chic and ensure you’re prepared for a drop in temperature (perfect for the office!).

“[The sleeves] also have this bat wing silhouette. It’s roomy and it’s oversized, which is so on-trend right now,” Chassie explains. “The thing is everybody looks good in this sweater!” She suggests trying the “half tuck, the fake tuck” for a little bit of extra shape and accessorizing with a wide-brim hat to complete the look – perfect for vacations or brunching with the ladies!

Sandra’s Take

Next up is Sandra, who opts for a blue floral pattern for visiting her family over the holidays. “The flower pattern makes it dressier. I like that it’s asymmetrical so it’s shorter in the front and longer in the back, and I paired it with jeans and my favorite [studded] booties to give it an edge,” she says.

She also notes how the top is less than $20, making it perfect for last-minute gifting!

Kennedy’s Take

Last up is Kennedy, who goes the classic route with a black version of the sweater and also likes Chassie’s idea of wrapping the sweater around the neck for a more sophisticated look. “I’m a whole new woman with this on. Can you tell?”

Of course, along with work should always be room for play. “I like when you have a little midriff moment happening,” Kennedy says, noting that you can also cut the top if you’re looking for a more cropped fit.

Either way, it’s a keeper in Kennedy’s eyes. “It’s soft. I like when fabric is bouncy in that way because you can move it and form it to be however you want it to be. It doesn’t feel constricting at all. Anybody can wear it!”

Chic enough for entertaining, versatile (and compact) enough for traveling, flattering for all body types and soft enough for lounging around with your favorite book and winter candle, scoop up the UGET pullover (available in sizes Small through XXLarge) for yourself and loved ones to ensure you’re covered – quite literally – for all of your holiday needs and beyond.
