Argentina is not messing around. I got back to visit in September of this year after being away for 4 years and I saw a vibrancy in wine country that caught my eye. Despite serious inflation problems the country is dealing with, their wine industry and restaurant scene is pumping out high quality juice and food on a global level. Malbec is likely what you know the country for, and that's no mistake. They have claimed the French variety as their own and given it a proper home where it's celebrated and coveted. But I also want you to consider the high quality Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc being produced in the vineyards. You'll see some heavy hitters and some variety in this list.
