If you thought we’d seen the last of the Sanderson sisters, think again. Everyone’s favorite trio of witches will return once again to wreak havoc on the town of Salem in another sequel—yep, “Hocus Pocus 3” is in the works already!

After the major success of “Hocus Pocus 2″ (it set a record with 2.7 billion minutes of viewing), Disney+ is developing a third film featuring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker. The president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, Sean Bailey, confirmed the “Hocus Pocus 3” news during an interview with the New York Times.

That means the Sanderson sisters will be returning to cause more wicked chaos with Hocus Pocus 3, 30 years after the original movie was first released.

Disney+ is developing another sequel to the film starring Bette MidlerKathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker. Sean Bailey, President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, confirmed the news in an interview with The New York Times.

The OG “Hocus Pocus” was first released in 1993. The film follows the Sanderson sisters, a trio of witches inadvertently resurrected by a teenage boy (and a cat) on Halloween night. The third movie will be filmed exactly 30 years after the original movie premiered.

While promoting “Hocus Pocus 2” last year, the Divine Miss M (aka Winifred Sanderson) shared her thoughts on the possibility of more films starring the witches.

“I’m envious of other actors who have franchises, and I was hoping for a sequel to First Wives Club, but we never got that,” she told EW at the time. “After 30 years with no sequel to Hocus Pocus, I’ve always been envious of people who get to do their favorite character more than once. The fact that we got to do this finally, after 30 years of promoting the idea, I’m glad we got to do it. I’d love to have a franchise — especially a character I love playing. If there was a third one, of course I’d sign on, but I don’t know how. I can’t imagine what the story would be, but I love Winifred, Sarah, Mary, and our relationship. It’s good for women. We stick together through hell and high water, but we do cause mayhem, and not many women cause that much mayhem!”

Sarah Jessica Parker echoed the sentiment:

“Kathy had a good idea that the third one should be animated,” she chimed in last year. “That would be cool and a smart idea. It’s fun, funny, and could be interesting and innovative, like old-fashioned or new [animation]… Of course I’d be happy to have a conversation [for a third film], it just depends on what Kathy and Bette want!”

Well, we know what the people want, don’t we? More Sanderson sisters, please.
