Hold Up, Does Brooke Shields Still Fit into Her Original Calvin Klein Jeans?
Brooke Shields is still a Calvin Klein model, 37 years after her denim ads first made headlines, and believe it or not, she still has her original pairs of jeans. The supermodel stopped by this week’s episode of Dirty Laundry with InStyle Editor-in-Chief Laura Brown, and talked about those now iconic ads from when she was just 15 years old.
“I do have the originals,” she said in the video at top of her first-ever Calvin Klein jeans. “I found two of them, because my mom kept everything, and I put them on and they’re literally, they’re like up to here,” she said, indicating that they’re high-waisted.
Hold up, that means 52-year-old Shields can still put on the jeans she wore when she was 15. Talk about impressive.
Unfortunately, Shields didn’t bring that original pair to Dirty Laundry because they’re currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (casual!), but she did bring a more recent pair to show off. The beauty recently started working with Raf Simons again, and a picture of her is even featured on the back label on the new Calvin Klein Collection jeans.
