They say a picture is worth a thousand words—and Hoda Kotb's latest social media tease said it all with a carousel of photos from the set of Sesame Street.
On Monday, March 11, the Today co-host strongly hinted that she would be featured on an upcoming episode of the beloved kids' show. "@sesamestreet fun today!!! Swipe!! Staff is world class!," she captioned her Instagram post.
In the main photo, Kotb grinned while posing with Elmo and Grover puppets. Elsewhere in the carousel, she smiled for a picture alongside Sesame Street staff members and cradled a stuffed Cookie Monster dressed in a chef's outfit. Kotb also held up an American flag while standing in front of a green screen with a video camera pointed at her in the final snap.
The official Sesame Street Instagram account commented, "We love you, @hodakotb! 💛💚."
Meanwhile, NBC News correspondent Jacob Soboroff declared, "epic."
Another Instagram user wrote, "Now there is a bucket list moment. I hope that you had a blast! 💚♥️🎅🏻."

Although Kotb didn't share details about when she might appear on the kids' show (or perhaps some other promotional material), a quick look at Sesame Street's Instagram grid might offer a clue. March is National Reading Month, as the show's latest post points out—and Kotb continues to promote her children's book Hope Is a Rainbow.
Then again, she's holding a flag in one of the photos. So her cameo might not have anything to do with reading or the book inspired by her younger daughter, Hope.
Whatever the theme of her Sesame Street collaboration turns out to be, Kotb's fans are sure to support her—and tune in!
