Hoda Kotb

Hoda Kotb earned the ultimate cool mom points this week when she brought her daughter Haley's entire first grade class to the set of the Today show.

The TV host, 59, gave Haley, 7, and her classmates the field trip of a lifetime as they all got to visit the New York City studio on Tuesday, Feb. 27, and the kiddos even got some airtime while Kotb and co-host Jenna Bush Hager sat down to tape Hoda & Jenna.

In the wholesome footage from Tuesday's show, Kotb proudly introduced her daughter's class while inviting Haley to come sit on her lap for a moment as she applauded all of the first graders for how well-behaved they were during the trip.

"They've been so polite and kind and cooperative and amazing," Kotb gushed, noting that the kids even got to read off the teleprompter.

Kotb also asked the children if it was the "best field trip" they ever had, to which they all of course replied with a cheerful and resounding, "Yes!"

"You have set the bar very high," Bush Hager added to her co-host, calling her "the most popular mom in the whole school," after organizing the exciting field trip.

Bush Hager, 42, later praised Kotb even more while telling the audience, "Hoda's doing everything today—she's hosting the show, she's hosting the field trip, she's being a mother—she really can do it all."

After the show, Kotb took to Instagram to share some highlights from the fun-filled day, including the sweet moment that Haley and her classmates got to spend learning from Today show weatherman Al Roker.

"Bring your first grader to work! ❤️ what a great day!" the proud mama gushed in the caption of the post.

In addition to Haley, Kotb is also a mom to younger daughter Hope, 4, both of whom she shares with ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman.
