Hoda Kotb Posts Rare Picture of Baby Hope Catherine Ahead of Her Return to 'Today'
Today show star Hoda Kotb posted a rare photo of her baby daughter, Hope Catherine, on Thursday.
Hoda adopted Hope in mid-April and has been on maternity leave ever since.
The co-anchor is coming back on Tuesday, September 3 following Labor Day weekend.
Only once in a while will Today show star Hoda Kotb post a photo on Instagram of her newly adopted baby girl, Hope Catherine. So when she shared a sweet, candid snap of little Hope this past Thursday, the co-host's fans were overwhelmed with happiness.
The Instagram below shows Hoda's mom, Sameha Kotb, smiling down on Hope, who is staring right back at her. Meanwhile, Hoda, who is holding Hope, is beaming with happiness. Appropriately, her caption read, " ❤️."
Of course, Hoda's Instagram followers absolutely loved the touching moment shared between the three generations.

Hoda's adorable post comes days after she promised Today fans that she was coming back to the show right after Labor Day weekend. The beloved co-anchor has been out since mid-April on maternity leave.
When she returns though, she'll be without her fourth-hour co-star Jenna Bush Hager, who gave birth to her first baby boy, Henry Harold "Hal" Hager,on August 2. It's unclear how long Jenna will be out for, but it's likely that she'll return to Today sometime in the fall. On top of that, Dylan Dreyeris also expecting a baby boy in January.

So much exciting news happening all at once! Still, it's good to know that amid all of these changes, the Today audience will for sure be seeing Hoda very, very soon.
"I am gettin' ready. I'm setting my alarm, 3:15 a.m. Okay? We'll be back in business," Hoda said in a recent Instagram announcing her return date. "I love you guys. I cannot wait to see you."
