Hoda Kotb Just Shared a Precious Video of Baby Hope Crawling for the First Time Ever
Today show star Hoda Kotb posted an Instagram Stories video of her daughter Hope Catherine crawling for the first time.
The co-anchor also shared a photo of her family on Thanksgiving Day celebrating belated birthdays and her engagement to financier Joel Schiffman.
Hoda adopted Hope in mid-April and returned to the NBC morning show in September following her maternity leave.
Hoda Kotb has plenty to celebrate: After sharing that she and her longtime boyfriend, Joel Schiffman, got engaged recently, the Today show star also updated fans about an exciting milestone her daughter Hope Catherine reached over the holiday weekend — she's now crawling!
“Thanksgiving Day crawl. Way to go Hope!” Hoda wrote on her Instagram Stories about her baby girl, who she adopted in April. The 55-year-old couldn’t help but jump up and down with joy as she saw her daughter moving around all on her own. The heartwarming moment came after the Today anchor hosted the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade alongside her fellow co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker.
Since returning from maternity leave in September, fans have loved seeing the mother of two's special family moments. On Thanksgiving, Hoda shared that she was enjoying the day with loved ones, including her fiancé and her mom, Sameha Kotb.
“We celebrated thanksgiving.. a couple of belated birthdays.. and threw in a mini icecream party,” she captioned a few photos on Instagram. “We have a lot to be thankful for❤️.”

Of course, people couldn’t help but notice the engagement balloons in the background. “Happy Thanksgiving Hoda. You inspire me so much. Congrats on your engagement 🎉🌟” one person wrote in the comments section. “Love the balloons 🎈 in the back 💍” another added. “Your [sic] truly blessed, Happy Thanksgiving Night to you and your family,” a different fan commented.
Where was Hope during this Thanksgiving dinner snap, you ask? We wouldn’t be surprised if she was out crawling around nearby.
