A recent photo the eldest Kardashian sister shared on social media has since sparked outrage.

Kourtney Kardashian recently took to social media to share a roundup of photos depicting what she's been up to, and one of the pics in particular got a lot more attention than we're sure she had originally expected.

The photo in question? A slew of food dishes placed in a bathroom setting. Plates can be seen all over the floor—and even on top of the toilet.

In response to the debate the capture started, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager brought the topic to the surface in a discussion on a March 30 broadcast of TODAY.

While Kotb kept her point of view somewhat neutral in the beginning, Bush Hager didn't spare her words on what she felt about the ordeal, diving head first into why she votes against it.

"I don't like the idea of eating in the bathtub or anywhere close to that area. Guess what happens in there? The same thing that happens in my bathroom that's a lot smaller," the Everything Beautiful In Its Time author said.

She continued her explanation: "There are certain rooms called dining rooms; kitchens, and they were named that way because the bathroom—one or two activities are supposed to happen there. Eating is not one of them."

Hoda erupted into laughter, before adding, "But having a nice drink in the tub is okay," to which her co-host emphatically refuted, "I don't really do that either. I'll have some tea, maybe, yes. But eating food? Eating a burger?"

The broadcast journalist finally admitted, "Look, I'm playing devil's advocate. I would never eat a burger in the bathroom." Kotb did, however, have to stop and seriously think about if she has ever "eaten anything" in the bathroom.

The show then posed the question to its viewers, uploading an Instagram post captioned, "Would you ever eat in the bathroom? 🤔 Kourtney Kardashian Barker's recent pic with plates of food—including chicken strips, strawberries, and cake—on the bathroom ground has sparked a heated debate about eating in the bathroom. Let us know what you think in the comments!"

Per usual, people had much to say about the discourse, filling the comment section with their reactions to the arousing practice.

"Eating in the bathroom is just nasty 🤢," one social media user wrote, while another suggested, "Well…it’s a no for me. Lol however, chances are it’s one of her many bathrooms and they chose one that is never used. Lol"

Someone else was convinced it "isn't sanitary," as a fourth amused, "Lol 😂😂 I’m thinking the photo achieves one goal and that is being a topic for discussion and debate 😂"

On the contrary, one didn't mind it at all, writing, "Why not? Most people bathrooms are cleaner than there kitchens. It’s also a low stress environment which helps your body relax and digest food better."

Even Padma Lakshmi weighed in, writing on her own Instagram, "Love a good bath picnic, don’t you?? @kourtneykardash @todayshow @hodaandjenna"
