Hoda Kotb got candid with fans about her dating life during a classic game of ‘Never Have I Ever’ with co-anchor Laura Jarrett (who filled in for Jenna Bush Hager on her day off). Last week on an episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Kotb, 59, disclosed that she had recently gone on a blind date following her headline-making split from ex-fiancé, financier Joel Schiffman.

Jarrett, 40, interrogated Kotb regarding her romantic life after the mother of two divulged that she had recently gone on a date with someone she had not previously met. “Wait, wait, wait. How did that go?” Jarett asked Kotb, who noted that her friend and co-host Bush Hager, 42, had set the date up, and knew the mystery man through a friend of hers.

Exclusive photos obtained by The U.S. Sun last week showed Kotb in the company of an unidentified man, leaving many wondering about his identity.

While it remains uncertain whether this individual is the same one referenced by Kotb during the program, the pair appeared to be relishing each other's company as they took a leisurely stroll. The single-and-ready-to-mingle Kotb was attired in form-fitting denim jeans, a vibrant orange top, and a stylish tan puffer jacket.

During the journalist's interview with People this month, Kotb disclosed that she favored the "setup" approach to dating and shared that her recent relationship had been arranged. "I like that a little bit better than random person number three," Kotb explained. Kotb remained tight-lipped about the identity of her date, withholding any clues regarding his public status or otherwise.

Kotb and Schiffman, 66, share two daughters: Hope, 4, and Haley, 6, and announced their split in January 2022 after being together since 2013.

During the 8th Annual Playground Committee Luncheon held at Hudson River Park Friends in New York City, the Today anchor spoke with People about her dating life, mentioning that she prefers to keep things simple and genuine instead of pretending to be someone she's not, two years after ending her engagement with Schiffman.

“You know what? I just decide before every date, I'm gonna be exactly who I am,” she told the outlet. “I'm not gonna pretend. I'm gonna eat what I would normally and not get a salad. That's not for me. So I want to be myself, so he knows this is me.” Kotb went on, adding that at the time she had a third date “coming up” with the man that Bush Hager arranged.

We're keeping our eyes peeled for more on Kotb and her potential new beau!
