Bryan Cranston has got some serious moves, and Hoda Kotb didn't want to miss out on the chance to learn some of them!

During a June 14 broadcast of Today, the actor sat down with the TV news anchor to discuss what he's been up to lately, including retirement rumors, details of his new film Asteroid City—and a viral video of him breaking out into dance during an event.

After showing a video of The Upside actor grooving on screen, which Cranston had to take a moment to even remember, Kotb seized the perfect opportunity to get an impromptu dance lesson from the star.

The clip shared was a TikTok recording of Cranston dancing at the wedding of Hunter Doohan—his costar in the Showtime series, Your Honor—set to the tune of Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now." The morning show host enjoyed the lively display, emphasizing how he was “tearing up the dance floor.”

As the snippet played, the actor joked about his moves, “That’s called ‘crossing guard,’ when you’re crossing the street and you allow the kids to cross over.”

Hoda then asked if anyone can learn his moves, prompting him to begin moving his body while still seated, before rising to his feet.

“It’s just a little shimmy,” he admitted, as “Don’t Stop Me Now” began to play and Hoda stood up to join in as Cranston's dance partner.

“Just kind of let it flow,” he advised. “You’re so loose,” Hoda complimented, to which the actor responded, “Limber. You got to be like Jell-O,” causing the media journalist to burst into laughter.

“Just one of a million things to love about you,” Hoda told the Why Him star.

Prior to the dance session, Cranston, whose new film premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on May 23, also clarified rumors that he plans to retire from acting in 2026.
