Have you ever accidentally knocked over a cup of tea or coffee in the morning? Yeah, us too (maybe more times than we'd like to admit).

If you've had this happen to you, you know exactly how Hoda Kotb felt, as viewers of the Today show witnessed the journalist go through the extremely relatable mishap while on air—and like the seasoned professional that she is, she recovered from the accident seamlessly.

During the morning show's broadcast on Tuesday morning, Oct. 3, the longtime anchor nudged her tea mug, accidentally knocking some of the contents across the news desk.

After spilling her drink, Hoda quickly exclaimed, "Sorry, sorry!" prompting her co-host who sat beside her, Savannah Guthrie, to joke, "Clean up on aisle one!"

"Can I just say, this is a huge mug—it's so big," Hoda admitted.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the table, the pair's other cohost, Craig Melvin, hopped out of his chair to assist Hoda with soaking up the liquid, in true gentlemanly fashion.

As someone who has been in her career for decades (she first joined NBC News in 1998 as a correspondent for Dateline), the mom-of-two swiftly moved past the mistake and recovered without a hitch, continuing to introduce the next topic at hand.

Guthrie, who not only works with Kotb daily but has also cultivated a close friendship with her, opened up last year about cohosting the morning show. "We feel grateful every single day, I know we feel grateful for this partnership and getting to come and do a job that is literally fun and to get to do it with a good friend who you trust so much and to just hold hands and get to do this together every morning - I never get over that," she told HELLO!, before adding, "I still can't believe it came true."
