"The Hills" Star Brandon Lee Just Called Out Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter for "Fake" PDA

The world is still buzzing about Miley Cyrus's and Liam Hemsworth's split. The two were married just eight months ago and the breakup seemingly came out of nowhere. In her cover interview for Elle Magazine, Miley even had plenty of good things to say about Liam. She alluded to him as the person she feels has her back the most. But amidst news of the split, paparazzi caught photos of Miley allegedly kissing The Hills star Kaitlynn Carter, leading some to question whether Miley's already moved on to a new fling. Kaitlynn is also recently single. Just a few days before Miley announced her breakup with Liam, Kaitlynn and he co-star Brody Jenner also announced their split just one year after they wed. Now, Brody's co-star Brandon Lee shared some thoughts about what he thought of Miley's and Kaitlynn's pics. In an interview with E! News, he said the whole thing seemed "fake."

"I was just like, 'This is getting out of hand,'" he said referring to the drama surround the pics. "This whole thing is just so, like—I don't know. I didn't even want to get involved with it. It just seems so fake to me."

Brandon revealed that he thinks Miley and Kaitlynn had ulterior motives. "It's just like—why?" he said. "They're just obviously messing with their two ex-husbands. And they're all friends. So, it's like, they were all friends. So, why—it just seems so ridiculous to me."

The pictures have caused a stir among "The Hills" crew. Prior to Brandon's comments, Brody posted a cryptic quote under a picture of himself on IG. The quote read, "Don't let yesterday take up too much of today."

Brandon then responded, " Let's round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out," to which Brody jokingly responded "watch out! Pics of Liam and I holding hands on a beach coming soon."

But Miley caught wind of the comments and chimed in writing, "@brodyjenner go take a nap in your truck and cool off #HotGirlSummer," making a reference to the first episode of The Hills reboot.

But Miley didn't deter Brody because he made another comment seemingly mocking Miley and Kaitlynn. He commented, "Viviendo mi vida loca" on a blog's post about Miley and Kaitlynn kissing.

Miley hasn't revealed whether she's actually dating Kaitlynn, but a source told People that Miley was introducing Kaitlynn simply as a friend.
