Hilary Swank announced she's going to be a mom!
The actress appeared on Good Morning America on Oct. 5 with a special announcement—she's pregnant with two bundles of joy!
Before Swank announced the news live on television, she explained, "This is something that I've been wanting for a long time."
She went on to share the exciting news, noting, “I’m gonna be a mom! And not just of one, but of two!"
“It’s so nice to be able to talk about it and share it," she added.
"You know what's great? That you're sharing it," said Robin Roberts of GMA. "Not hearing it from anyone else but from you, and that's how you role."
The actress is expecting twins with husband Philip Schneider, whom she married back in 2018. This will mark the couple's first pregnancy!
Swank's appearance on the morning talk show also included a promotion of her upcoming drama series, Alaska Daily, where she stars as investigative journalist Eileen Fitzgerald.
The show will follow Fitzgerald, who was once a high-profile investigative journalist in New York, as she leaves behind her life in the big city to move to Anchorage, Alaska, where she rebuilds her reputation working at a daily newspaper and tries to solve a cold case involving an indigenous woman's murder.
